Personal Training
The Innate Fitness App puts your personalised training programme in the palm of your hand. Every workout is clearly laid out with exercises tailored to your goals, experience, and schedule—whether you’re training at the gym or remotely. Each exercise includes a demo GIF to ensure proper form, with full video tutorials being added over time for even more guidance. Log your sets, reps, and rest times with ease, while previous session data helps you push for personal bests. Built-in notes allow direct trainer feedback and personal reminders, keeping you organised, supported, and progressing every session.

Learn About The Owner & Trainer Of Innate Fitness
I’m Joshua, founder of Innate Fitness and a Level 3 qualified personal trainer. My journey into fitness started young trying out a variety of sports before finding a competitive edge in badminton, where I reached county level. Over time, I developed a deeper interest in resistance training, starting with bodyweight movements and weight training at home. That curiosity led me into anatomy and biomechanics, and I took a very structured, disciplined approach from the beginning.
I began my career at Shepton Mallet Leisure Centre, working there for nearly six years starting as an apprentice and later becoming a personal trainer. During that time, my training was primarily calisthenics-focused, using gymnastic rings for most of my workouts. As I trained more people, I started to see that fitness was about more than reps and sets it was about transformation, inside and out.
I opened Innate Fitness on January 15th, 2024, with a vision to deliver coaching built for the long term. Today, I’m fortunate to train people focused on longevity, strength, and real physical development not just quick fixes. Most of our work centres on resistance training and helping people build aesthetics and resilience that last.
My approach is influenced by the timeless training philosophies of the bronze and silver eras methods that prioritise consistent progress over fads. Coaching isn’t just about showing up for a workout. It’s about building habits, perspective, and a better way of living. I’m here to guide you through that journey one honest rep at a time.

I opened the studio to create exactly what I felt was missing in commercial gyms: a space where people feel comfortable, respected, and free to train without pressure or chaos. Here, you’ll have the room to develop your confidence, while receiving expert guidance when you need it.
